Education
Kristin attended Missouri State for her undergraduate study, where she majored in Psychology and minored in Sociology. She then went on to receive her Master of Education in Counseling from Wichita State University, and graduated in 2024.
Overview
Kristin believes that therapy should feel like a genuine and supportive experience. Her goal is to create a space that feels real, warm, and grounded in compassion, where clients can show up fully as themselves. She works to honor the courage it takes to come to therapy and to build an environment where people feel safe to explore, reflect, and grow at their own pace—whether they’re navigating relationship struggles, mental health challenges, or simply the complexities of daily life.
Kristin primarily works with couples and teens (ages 14+). With couples, she provides support for navigating relationship conflict, improving communication, navigating sexual concerns, and engaging in marital or premarital counseling. She also enjoys working with teens and supporting them through the unique challenges that arise during adolescence. Kristin has a particular focus on working with individuals living with borderline personality disorder and those seeking DBT-informed treatment. Her approach is informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which she integrates flexibly to meet each client’s unique needs. She provides inclusive care for people of all cultural backgrounds, gender identities, and life experiences.
